PURPOSE:To obtain a bonded article having improved heat, impact and water resistance, etc., by applying a urethane primer previously to an adhesive surface of a polyolefin resin and then applying an adhesive thereto to bond the titled resin to metal with improved adhesive strength. CONSTITUTION:A urethane primer, preferably a terminal NCO group-containing urethane polymer consisting of a polyol having 400-2,000 molecular weight and diphenylmethane diisocyanate, is first applied to an adhesive surface of a polyolefin resin, and an adhesive, e.g. a solventless urethane resin, is applied thereto to bond the polyolefin resin to a metal. A method for applying the urethane primer by applying a terminal NCO group-containing prepolymer obtained by partially reacting a polyol with an excess polyisocyanate to the adhesive surface and hardening the prepolymer with moisture in air is preferred from the viewpoint of the operability, etc.
