PURPOSE:To obtain a solution having cardiotonic, analgesic an antipyretic activities, etc., and reduced bitter taste and harsh taste, by adding an extract of SENSO (dried parotid milk of Bufo bufo gargarizans) together with cyclodextrin to a solution. CONSTITUTION:SENSO extract is compounded together with cyclodextrin (e.g. beta-cyclodextrin, gamma-cyclodextrin, etc.) to a solution. SENSO is prepared by drying the milk secreted from the parotid gland of Bufo bufo gargarizans or Bufo melanosticus of Bufomidae family and is used traditionally as an important analgesic and antipyretic drug. However, SENSO has strong bitter and harsh taste to inhibit the administration in the form of liquid. The bitter and harsh taste of SENSO can be eliminated even in a liquid containing the active component of SENSO in high titer by adding beta-cyclodextrin and/or gamma-cyclodextrin to the SENSO extract. The amount of cyclodextrin is 5-300 pts., preferably 50-150 pts. per 1 pt. of SENSO.
