LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent transmission of an electromagnetic wave and to prevent circuit breakdown owing to static electricity with a liquid crystal display device of a reflection type by connecting a metallic reflecting plate to GND of a circuit or metallic housing. CONSTITUTION:A display side transparent substrate 2 provided with a display side polarizing plate 1 and a display side transparent electrode 3 and an opposite side transparent substrate 7 provided with an opposite side transparent electrode 6 and an opposite side polarizing plate 8 are sealed by means of a sealant 5 and a liquid crystal compsn. 4 is sealed to the inside. A reflecting plate 9 formed by subjecting a maleable metal such as aluminum or copper made into foil to hairline working or rugged working in order to increase reflection efficiency is adhered to the plate 8. A spring material 10 fixed to the plate 9 by means of a conductive paint 11 is further fixed and connected to the GND terminal of the circuit or a metallic housing. Transmission of an electromagnetic wave is thus prevented and the circuit breakdown by static electricity is prevented.
