摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the optical sensor device for color information with a large S/N ratio by making the photodetecting part into two long size amolphous silicone pin type photodiodes and further, being equipped with many optical shutter windows arranged in the main scanning direction from the light source. CONSTITUTION:Many liquid crystal shutters 21 corresponding to one dot respectively in a straight line way are arranged and formed on a transparent substrate 20 by a liquid crystal shutter 3, and the shutter opens and closes by the electric field control and controls the transmission of the light. When a liquid crystal shutter window 21 is opened and closed successively dot by dot, an incident light L1 is made incident on an original 2 time-sequentially for one dot, and a reflecting light L2 of the light quantity in accordance with the color component of the recognized pattern of the original can be received by a photodetecting part 6. The photodetecting part 6 is composed of an a-Si pin type photodiodes 6a and 6b which is orthogonal in the traveling direction of the original 2, extended in the main scanning direction, long-sized and mutually cleared and is in two parallel columns. At such a case, the incident light L1 to the original 2 passes through the space between these photodiodes 6a and 6b, after reflecting, is made incident on these photodiodes 6a and 6b, the photoelectric converting output of the size in accordance with the incident light quantity is generated and the light is detected.
