Between the earth conductor (10) connecting point (1) in the connector and the corresp. contact (11) is coupled an extendable electrically conductive component. In the event that the connector or the cable (3) connected to it is subjected to tractive force tending to break the contact between the cable leads and their connection points, the earth circuit is maintained intact, at least until contact between all the phase conductors and their corresp. connecting points has been completely broken. The extendable electrically conductive component comprises a folded, flat, copper strip conductor. The connecting point (12) between the earth conductor and the folded strip can be displaced relatively to the connector casing by a traction applied between the cable and the connector. |
