The pneumatically actuated devices of the electropneumatically controlled apparatus are each connected via an electropneumatic control-valve unit (6) to the storage space (15) of a compressed-air accumulator (7). The compressed-air accumulator (7) consists of an extruded section (17) which is closed on both sides by screwed-on end plates (32, 33) and, apart from the chamber part forming the storage space (15), has two smaller chamber parts (19, 20) arranged next to one another. The connection ports of the valve-control unit (6) directly adjoin bores (21, 22, 24) of the extruded profile, which in each case connect the chamber parts (15, 19, 20) to the main valve and auxiliary valves of a valve-control unit (6) so that pneumatic hoses are avoided for this. The compressed-air accumulator (7) is simple to manufacture in various sizes adapted to the respective air requirement and the dimensions of the apparatus. The weldless construction and the use of a plurality of accumulator units connected to one another via hoses increase the safety of the apparatus. <IMAGE>
