Package vacuum-measuring system - uses pressure at which package part moves away from filling under vacuum

The system measures the vacuum in a vacuum package, part of which is movable away from the filling. An endless seal joined to a disc is so placed on the package that the movable part is within the area enclosed by it. The space between package, disc and sealed is evacuated. The pressure is measured at which the part concerned moves away from the filling. There can be two drillings in the disc (1), with mouths inside the area enclosed by the seal, one (2) connected to a vacuum gauge (5) and the other (3) to an exhauster.
