The invention relates to a clamping means for a force-fitting connection of functional parts on office swivel chairs. The force-fitting connection of a functional part (5) is effected via a threaded spindle (2) which is guided longitudinally displaceably in a stationary support (3) with a threaded bore (10), said functional part being arranged between the support (3) and an attachment means (4) which is screwed onto the end of the threaded spindle (2).
