PURPOSE:To improve the life of a rotating body for fixation by providing a feeding and transporting control means which passed a paper sheet where no toner image is transferred through between a couple of rotating bodies for fixation successively to a resin sheet where a toner image is fixed during fixation processing of the toner image to the resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:The conveying speed of a fixing roller 23 and a conveyor belt 20 is changed from a slow speed V1 to a fast speed V0 when fixation to a trapen 28 is completed and the paper sheet 32 is sent at the speed V0 between the fixing roller 23 and a pressure roller 24. At this time, the paper sheet is roughened more than the smoothed surface of the trapen and the sticking property of toner is higher than the those surface of the rollers 23 and 214, so toner which can not be cleaned away from the surface of the fixing roller 23 by a cleaning web is offset again efficiently and toner on the pressure roller is also offset similarly, thereby cleaning the surface of the fixing roller 23 securely. Therefore, the use life of the fixing roller 23 is improved greatly as compared with conventional rollers. |
