PURPOSE:To permit the automatic setting of parameters of printing pressures corresponding to styles of letters and feeding pitches of a carriage by a simple constitution in which different kinds of information are recorded on a recording part provided to a type element. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 11 to record information corresponding to elements is provided to the type element and recorded with even different information 11a- 11d representing the feeding pitches corresponding to four types and struck bar- codes 11i representing printing pressures. Parameters of printing pressures and carriage feeding pitches corresponding to various types of letters can thus be automatically set up by one sheet and the inertial moment becomes small, thereby permitting high-speed recording to be performed. |
