A sliding carriage, which can be displaced transversely with respect to the track ways, of a set of sliding points for a suspended railway is moved by a crank rocker (1) into two working positions bounded by stops. A driver roller (1.2) which is attached to the outer end of a crank arm (1.1) engages in a guide track (2.3) of a connecting link (2) which is arranged on the sliding carriage (16) at right angles to the movement of the sliding carriage and, during the rotational movement of the crank arm (1.1), pushes the sliding carriage (16) forwards or backwards. The connecting link (2) is rotatable at one end and mounted in a flexibly supported fashion at the other end by means of the force of in each case one spring (3.1, 3.2) which counteracts the corresponding direction of movement. The stops for the sliding carriage (16) and a stop, constructed as damping element, for the driver roller (1.2) are arranged in such a way that the force of one or other spring (3.1, 3.2) of the flexibly supported connecting link (2) stops the sliding carriage (16) after the respective dead-centre position is overshot. <IMAGE>
