<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the sulfur oxide content of an exhaust gas by discharging the cleaned desulfurized gas of an exhaust gas from an induction blasting machine through an exhaust gas nozzle together with a steam generated upon this occasion to the furnace bottom part thereby to reutilize the thus discharged gas as combustion air. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas entering a washing tank 8 is discharged through an exhaust gas nozzle 24 into washing water 15 wherein sulfur oxide within the exhaust gas is caught by the washing water 15. The washed exhaust gas enters an exhaust gas header 2 through a smoke path 16 together with steam, and is discharged out of an exhaust nozzle 3 so that the exhaust gas becomes uniform. In this case, oxygen remaining in the discharged exhaust gas is utilized for combustion; on the other hand, and the exhaust gas and steam suppress a abrupt combustion of the fuel thereby to prevent combustion part 7 from assuming an excessive high temperature or locally assuming an extraordinary high temperature.</p> |
