PURPOSE:To make an injector compact, by making the thickness of a driving fluid introduction chamber nearly equal to that of the wall of each of a suction pipe and a discharge pipe, and by providing a jet nozzle in the inside circumferential surface of the chamber and connecting the nozzle to a driving fluid introduction passage. CONSTITUTION:A suction pipe 1 and a discharge pipe 2 are connected to each other through an annular chamber 3, which acts to introduce a driving fluid. The thickness of the chamber 3 is made nearly equal to that of the wall of each of the suction pipe 1 and the discharge pipe 2. A driving fluid introduction passage 4 is annularly provided in the chamber 3 along the circumference thereof. A jet nozzle 5, which communicates with the passage 4, is provided in the inside circumferential surface of the chamber 3. As a result, the chamber 3 does not extend out of the inside and outside circumferential surfaces of the suction pipe 1 and the discharge pipe 2. An injector can thus be made compact. |
