PURPOSE:To reduce the amplitude of deviation of air-fuel ratio even in the transient state at the time of power compensation by carrying out the compensation by the correction value or power in addition to that by the mixing ratio correction factor in the basic pulse duration at the high load time of an internal- combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:In the MPU of a control unit 26 the basic pulse duration Tp is calculated from the air flow rate Qa and the number of revolutions N of an internal-combustion engine 10, for instance, by means of the formula I. Next, the mixing ratio correction factor KAF is obtained from this basic pulse duration Tp and the number of revolutions N of the internal-combustion engine 10 referring to a map. And the comparison is made whether or not the basic pulse duration Tp read in is greater than the basic pulse duration TPN prescribed for each number of revolutions of the internal-combustion engine 10. And, when Tp>TPN, it is regarded as the range of power compensation value. Then, the fuel injection time Ti is obtained, for instance, by the formula I to output it to a fuel injection valve 40. Thus, the amplitude of deviation of air-fuel ratio A/F can be reduced less than a desired control value even in the transient state at the time of power compensation.
