PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality printing even at high speed by forming an electrode by integrally molding a fibrous base material into a bundle form in such a way as to keep a gas permeability in the direction of fibers. CONSTITUTION:A recording electrode 17 is formed by bundling a fibrous base material of stainless steel fibers integrally in a needle-like form in such a way as to maintain a gas permeability in the direction of the fibers. Since the electrode 17 has low resistances to fluids in the direction of the fibers, ink 1 consumed can be quickly supplied. The majority of the electrode 17 is inserted into ink 1 in an ink container 2 and the ink 1 is contained in a supersaturated state in the spaces of the electrode 17 and sufficiently supplied to the tip portion 4 of the electrode 17. Also, since the electrode 17 has many through holes, some of blocked holes can be supplemented by the other holes, and the blocking of the holes can be recovered because many through holes are led to the adjacent holes at may internal points. |
