SCREW-NUT DRIVING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To eliminate the chattering in the case when the revolution movement of a screw is converted to a rectilinear movement by screwing a movable bracket onto the male screw on the outer periphery of a tapered nut screwed with a screw and fixing the both into the nonrevolution relation. CONSTITUTION:A screw 14 has a worm wheel 16 at one edge. A tapered nut 22 has a female screw 23 screwed with a screw 14 on the inner peripheral surface, and a tapered male screw 24 is cut on the outer peripheral surface. The tapered nut 22 has a slit 25, and a hexagonal nut-shaped part 26 is formed at the edge part of the slit 25. A tapered female screw 13' screwed with the tapered male screw 24 of the tapered nut 22 is installed into the hole of a movable bracket 10. The tapered nut 22 is screwed into the hole of the movable bracket 10 so that the revolution resistance in the screwing between the screw 14 and the tapered nut 22 becomes small and the state free from chattering can be obtained, and a plate 27 is fixed by using machine screws 29.
