PURPOSE:To permit the stable operation as an accelerating/decelerating driving machine by obtaining the smooth meshing between gears by forming a tooth shape of a rigid gear and a wave-motion gear into proper shape respectively through the sufficient analysis of the tooth shape. CONSTITUTION:Each shape of the rolling movement plates P1 and P2 which perform the equal relative movement to that of a pair of tooth of a rigid gear 1 and a wave-motion gear 2 meshed each other is set as the locus which the momentary center P in the relative movement of the teeth draws in flat plane form fixed onto each tooth. When the tooth shape C1 and the rolling movement plate P1 are formed integrally, and the tooth shape C2 and the rolling movement plate P2 are formed integrally, the tooth shape is determined by providing the necessary condition for mechanism that the common normal line T of the tooth shape at the meshing point C of the teeth passes through the rolling contact point (momentary center) P of the rolling movement plates P1 and P2 in the same relative movement. Therefore, the teeth can be meshed smoothly, and the operation performance, load faculty, and service life can be improved. |
