PURPOSE:To improve the operability of many functions with a smaller-sized key telephone set by displaying a function offered to the operator on the key telephone set, detecting the operated key data and displaying the display data with the function to be offered on the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The key telephone set 20 receives display data (a) stored in storage circuits RAMm, ROMm from a master set 10 at application of power, stores it in a storage circuit RAMt, and a control section 21 uses a drive section to display the display data on a dot matrix liquid crystal display panel MP. The drive section 21 scans a transparent key matrix KM, detects a part of a key position dat depressed and sends the key data to the master set 10. The master set 10 sends display data (b) ... displaying the function selected next by the operator and the key telephone set 20 displays the display data (b) ...on the panel MP. Similarly, the operator selects the function according to the operation section 23 and the master set 10 displays the display of function selected next by the operator on the operation section 23. |
