An interrupter switch is described which has a stationary contact part (4), an arc contact (7) and a movable contact part (8). The arc contact (7) is in this case supported such that it can move in an articulated manner in a direction at right angles to the movement direction of the movable contact part (8), as a result of which eccentricity between the stationary contact part (4) and the arc contact (7) is avoided. <IMAGE>
