摘要 PURPOSE:To reliability prevent any unusual temperature increase of the reformation tube of a fuel reformation device which accompanies a rapid load variation of a fuel cell without causing any great variation of the pressure of the fuel electrode and any reduction of the fuel reformation characteristic by controlling the distribution of the air flow rate according to the result of the comparison between the actually determined temperature and the standard temperature of the reformation tube by installing a high temperature and a low temperature exchanger. CONSTITUTION:When the load of a fuel cell rapidly decreases and the temperature of a reformation tube 2 exceeds a standard level, according to a command from a control device 30 immediately a control valve 27 is controlled to increase the flow rate of air and a control valve 24 is controlled to decrease the flow rate of air. Accordingly, part or most of the combustion air branches into a low temperature exchanger 26 and then is cooled by cooling water 28 prior to being poured into a burner 7 thereby producing a great cooling effect. In addition, the amount of air branching into the exchanger 26 is increased according to the temperature increases and its speed of the reformation tube 2. Therefore, any unusual increase in the internal temperature of the combustion chamber 6 of a fuel reformation device 1 as well as any unusual heating of the reformation tube 2 are prevented.
