A draught frame for a towed vehicle, such as a cultivator (12), has a draw bar (16) with a rearwardly extending section (34) overlying the front part of the cultivator main frame (14). Draught loads are transferred between the main frame (14) and the depending section (34) by a pair of arms (38, 39) pivoted on transverse pivot axes (41, 42, 43). The relative angle between the arms (38, 39) and the spacing thereof result in the arms defining an instantaneous centre (47) through which the resultant of the draught forces act. |
