<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a terminal adaptor connectable even to a packet network and an ISDN by providing a PAD adaptor, a packet processing section, and an interface section to a packet network, an ISDN and an input/output terminal device. CONSTITUTION:The PAD adaptor 1 forms a data from a non-ISDN terminal device into a packet, which is transferred to the packet processing section 2 and decompses the packet transferred from the packet processing section 2 to transfer it to the non-ISDN terminal device and accommodates plural non-ISDN terminal devices. Further, the packet processing section 2 processes the packet level and applies management of a logical channel and processing such as flow control. In case of the connection to the ISDN, the packet data is transferred to the interface section 4, and in case of the connection to a packet network, the packet data is transferred to the interface section 3. Since a keyboard and a display device or the like are accommodated in an interface section 5, the terminal adaptor is used as a terminal device.</p> |
