PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion from being caused by an ink, by providing an insulating layer on the surface of a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:The insulating layer 17 is provided on the surfaces of electrodes 15, 16 for a cylindrical piezoelectric element 14 of the ink jet head. With the gold electrodes 15, 16 for the element 14 covered by the insulating layer 17, the metal making direct contact with ink is only nickel constituting a nozzle 12, a fluid resistance element 13 and a fluid rectifier element 19, so that the corrosion can be prevented from being caused by a cell effect. |
