The invention relates to a method for air-conditioning a vehicle (10), particularly a rail vehicle, during a journey along a route (12), wherein a temperature (Ti) inside the vehicle (10) is controlled and/or regulated according to a temperature specification, which is a specified temperature range (32). According to the invention, an indication about at least one change in the topographic conditions is present or provided for at least one location (28, 30) along the route (12), said indication implying a change in weather data on a route section (18, 24) that follows said location (28, 30), the current position (14) of the vehicle (10) is determined permanently or at intervals during the journey, and the temperature (Ti) inside the vehicle (10) continues to be controlled and/or regulated within the specified temperature range (32) also on the basis of a remaining time (DeltaTau), ascertained by means of the position (14) thus determined, until the vehicle is expected to reach the aforementioned location (28, 30) and the change in weather data implied by the aforesaid indication.
