PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of a freeze-thawing vessel by inserting a circulation pipe for cooling and heating into a cooling drum and providing rotary plates for heat transmission to the outside circumference of said drum perpendicularly to the axial line. CONSTITUTION:The circulation pipe 4 for cooling and heating is inserted into the cooling drum 2 which is freely rotatably supported axially to permit free cooling and heating. Rotary plates 5 for heat transmission are juxtaposed at every required interval to the outside of the drum 2 in the direction perpendicular to the axial line direction of the drum 2. The expansion of the sludge liquid, etc. in the vessel owing to freezing is thereby absorbed between the rotary plates for heat transmission and therefore the breakdown of the freeze-thawing vessel is obviated. |
