PURPOSE:To construct a retaining wall reasonably by a method in which con-nectors are inserted into the fitting holes of the joint end portion of self-sup porting blocks for joining the blocks. CONSTITUTION:A connecting pin 9 for the lower side of stay wall and two connecting pins 9 for the lower side of the surface wall of the lowest stage block are inserted into the fitting holes 11 of a foundation concrete 10. The lowest stage block is joined with the connecting pin 9 whose upper half is projected. After the pins 9 joined into respective fitting holes are inserted into the right joint end fitting holes 4' on the short side of surface wall and the concrete 10, the block placed side by side with the pins 9 projected into the fitting hole 4' of the short side joint end 4 of the surface wall is brought into adhesion. Fitting holes 5' and 7' in the downside of the long-side joint ends 5 and 7 of the surface wall and the stay wall are joined with the pins 9 inserted into the concrete 10. Furthermore, in the same way, the blocks are assembled vertically and bilaterally to construct a retaining wall. |
