PURPOSE:To attain connection with various slave devices transmitting a signal by providing a transmission means of a signal through plural transmission media and setting a medium for each slave set. CONSTITUTION:At first n input device 11 brings the mode to the setting mode of an address and transmission means of a slave set. A control circuit 12 displays it on a display device 13. Then the input device 11 designates an address and transmission means 16-19 at each slave set, and designates a port number to connect each slave set further when a transmission circuit 18 for power carrier or a wired signal transmission/reception circuit 19 is designated. A control circuit 12 stores the number of an address transmission means to a storage circuit 14 and then the setting of the address and the transmission means is finished. When a signal is sent from a master set to a slave set, its instruction is outputted from the control circuit 12 to a distribution circuit 15. The circuit 15 uses the address given to the transmission signal to read the transmission means and output port number from the storage circuit 14 and the transmission signal is sent to a prescribed transmission means. Then the signal is sent to the slave set from the transmission means receiving the signal through a specific medium.
