PURPOSE:To determine volumetric distribution of particles simultaneously with the integrated value of volume thereof, by converting an analog signal proportional to the size of the particle passed into a digital value to add 1 to the contents of a memory element as each analog pulse signal is generated. CONSTITUTION:A scatter signal alone generated with the passage of blood cells through a fine luminous flux being irradiated to an orifice 4 is introduced to a photoelectric converter 13 to 13 to be converted into an electrical signal A. As each analog pulse signal A proportional to the capacity is generated, it is converted into a digital value with an A/D conversion circuit 31 to be inputted into an address section of a memory element 42, the contents of which are read out of a data a section to be an input of a total adder 48 and 1 is added by a signal connected to the H level to be inputted into a latch circuit 49. Thus, a data having 1 added to the previous contents is written by a command of a control circuit 43. With the repetition of the above-mentioned operations, the contents written into the memory element 42 provides the address part corresponding to the capacity of blood cell and the data part to occurence frequency of the blood cell the same in the capacity. |
