PURPOSE:To discriminate easily each line by printing out color information of each line after converting it to texture information, at the time point when bringing a multicolor line graph data to hard copy by a single color printer, and obtaining a single color print which has represented each line by each different texture. CONSTITUTION:When a hard copy command (single color print command) of an image which is being displayed on a color CRT 14 is given from a keyboard 22, an image data which is being displayed is transferred to a printer control part 20 from a CRT control part 16. This printer control part 20 stores an image data which has been transferred to the internal memory, and decides whether its image data contains a multicolor line graph data or not. In case when said data contains the multicolor line graph data, it is printed out by a single color printer 18 after performing a mark generation processing for converting the color information to texture information.
