Magnetic probe with a tube for assembly. This tube 1 contains sensors 2, which are coils of electromagnets placed in tubular support elements 6, a mechanism 10, 11, 12 of which allows positional adjustment. The tube 1 and the support elements 6 are made of a ceramic material, or else of a plastic material reinforced with carbon fibres, advantageously, of a reinforced epoxy resin. Application in particular to probing equipment working at great depth. <IMAGE>
