PURPOSE:To control the water volume with high accuracy in a simple constitution by providing the 1st and 2nd flow rate controllers at the feed and discharge sides of measuring tank together with a sensor and a scale interlocking a float within the tank provided respectively. CONSTITUTION:Both feed and discharge ports 1a and 1b are provided to a measurement tank 1, and a feed pipe 2 containing a solenoid valve (the 1st flow rate controller) 3 and a discharge pipe 4 containing a pump (the 2nd flow rate controller) 5 are connected to both parts 1a and 1b respectively. A scale 7 having slits 7a is attached to a float 6 set within the tank 1. This scale 7 is detected by an optical sensor 8, and the result of this detection is supplied to a controller 9. The valve 3 is kept active until the sensor 8 detects a prescribed position of the scale 7. Then the pump 5 is actuated after the valve 3 is inactive. The pump 5 is inactive when the sensor 8 detects a prescribed number of slits 7a. Then a prescribed amount of water is discharged.
