The invention relates to a door sign (9) with inbuilt infrared transmitter (18) which is located in a recess (4) of the door sign (9). The transmitter is operated by a battery (17) which is located in the recess of the door sign (6). The signals are wirelessly transmitted from contact points (1a+2a), located laterally and below at the cylinder (15) located in the door sign, via a cable (7) to the transmitter (18) and via the transmitting diode (3) to a suitable receiver or alarm signalling device. <IMAGE>
