PURPOSE:To obtain a recorder having good thermal efficiency and free of thermal hysteresis by providing a contact on the periphery of a holder in such a way that the holder is not directly touched by the heating elements of a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A contact part 31 to be touched by a film 1 is formed on the tip 30 of a thermal head, and heating elements 6 are made up in places lower than the contact part 31. The contact part 31 made of a heat conductive material, e.g., metals, etc., and serves to release heat accumulated in the thermal head 7 through the metal film 1. The heating elements 6 are faced the film 1 with an aperture (g) corresponding to the contact part 31. Since the heating elements 6 are not directly contacted with the film 1 and an ink layer 33 is formed in the aperture (g), the heat of the heating elements 6 is effectively conducted to ink without escaping to the ink holder, and forming efficiency of air bubbles in ink is greatly raised. The consumption of energy can thus be greatly reduced. |
