Prepn. of guanidine deriv. for gastrointestinal infections

Prepn. comprises cyclising 1-chloro-2-hydroxypropanone with methyl dithiocarbamate, oxidising the formed thiothiazole to the corresp. sulphone, reacting with guanidine and sulphonyl chloride to give the corresp. sulphonate, reacting with 3-mercaptopropio--nitrile, performing methanolysis in acid and treating with sulphamide in presence of tert. amine.
