PURPOSE:To prevent air leakage by making a lip section integrally formed with a corner cover, into resiliently contact with the upper end edge section of a door finisher, and to prevent the upper end edge section from floating up and so forth, by pressing the upper end edge section by means of the lip section to fix the upper end edge section in the holding section of the corner cover. CONSTITUTION:Air entering into a door 11 flows through attaching holes 16c in a corner base plate 16 and the space between the lower end section 16e and the upper end flange section 15a of the door inner panel, and flows into the gap between the corner base plate 16 and a corner cover 17, which is formed due to an error upon manufacturing, etc. In this arrangement, since the lip section 17e of the corner cover 17 is made in contact with the upper end edge section 18a of the door finisher 18, air leakage into the passenger's compartment is checked so that sound shield may be attained. Further, the upper end edge section 18a is inserted into the holding section 17d of the corner cover 17 to be pressed against the lip section 17e so that it is held between the lip section 17e and a holding inner wall 17f, thereby it is possible to surely secure the upper end edge section 18a.
