HEAT-SHRINKABLE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-shrinkable material having high strength without causing the foaming in the irradiation with electron ray, by molding a composition obtained by compounding a chlorinated polyethylene with fine powder of calcium carbonate and crosslinking the molded article with electron ray irradiation. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a chlorinated polyethylene is compounded with 10-30pts.wt. of calcium carbonate powder having an average particle diameter of <=0.2mu. The obtained composition is molded and the product is crosslinked with electron ray irradiation. A heat-shrinkable material having high strength and free of voids can be produced by this process.
