PURPOSE:To enable efficient pumping by transmitting movement of a float fluctuated by wave to the piston of a vertical cylinder placed underwater. CONSTITUTION:A float 1 is a float on the surface of the sea, and a chain 7 connects the bottom of the float 1 to the piston rod 6 of a vertical cylinder 4 placed on the seabed. A piston 5 placed in the cylinder 4 is coupled to the piston rod 6, and a water tank 12 and a strainer 11 are connected to the cylinder 4 through a check valve 10. Therefore, wave-induced fluctuation of the float 1 discharges sea water sucked from the strainer 11 into the water tank 12 by the movement of the piston 5. |
