PURPOSE:To attempt rapid red-heating of the tip of a heater and control its peak temperature and saturation temperature appropriately by providing the inner and outer peripheral faces of a heat resistant insulating cylindrical body with a control section and a heat generating section made of conductive materials with different positive resistance temperature coefficients and exposing the heat generating section of the surface of the heater. CONSTITUTION:A rod-shaped heater 11 is constituted with a heat generating section 20 made of conductive material and formed on the outer peripheral section of a heat resistant insulation cylindrical body 22 and a control section 21 formed on the inner peripheral section of the cylindrical body 22 and made of conductive material which has a positive resistance temperature coefficient larger than that of the heat generating section 20. When a voltage is applied from an outer connection terminal 14 to the control section 21 and heat generating section of the heater 11, it makes the heat generating section 20 at the tip of the heater 11 generate heat rapidly. When the resistance value of the control section 21 increases with heat generation, the voltage applied between the heat generating section 20 and control section 21 changes, and the voltage applied to the heat generating section is controlled, so that is temperature is saturated at about 850 deg.C after it has reached a peak temperature of about 1,200 deg.C, and its overheating can be avoided. |
