PURPOSE:To automatically control the distribution of torque by providing two solenoid valves for both front-wheel and rear-wheel hydraulic clutches through which distribution of torque between front and rear wheels can be varied, and forming an oil pressure circuit so as to separately control each clutch of said hydraulic clutches. CONSTITUTION:When driving with four wheels, a signal with large duty ratio is sent to both solenoid valves 40, 40' from a control unit 44, setting a signal oil pressure small. Thereupon, clutch oil pressure control valves 35, 35' generate high clutch oil pressure and feed the pressure to both hydraulic clutches 20, 20' respectively, causing both clutches 20, 20' to be engaged. The control unit 44 calculates a required oil pressure, a torque distribution ratio, and each clutch oil pressure, and send a correspondent duty signal to each of the solenoid valves 40, 40'. Thereby, e.g., at a medium or low speed, the distribution of torque is made in such a way that the hydraulic clutch 20' has a higher oil pressure and clutch torque based on the torque distribution ratio, to obtain a travel mode close to that of an FR car.
