Separating device for conveying lines, especially for ship-loading lines

The invention relates to a separating device for conveying lines, especially ship-loading lines, with travelling line sections which both have blocking elements. Furthermore, a separating coupling is provided which connects the two line sections. In the event of rapid separation, there is first synchronous actuation of the blocking elements in a closing direction and then uncoupling of the separating coupling. Separate cylinder/piston arrangements are provided for actuation of the blocking elements and for actuation of the separating coupling, though the cylinder/piston arrangement for the separating coupling is controlled in dependence on, and so as to positively follow, the cylinder/piston arrangement for the blocking elements. No mechanical positive follow-up control is therefore used, so that the separating device always operates in a functionally reliable fashion when required to do so, but regardless of this makes arbitrary decoupling of the separating coupling absolutely impossible.
