The foot (26) of the lens (31) is fixed in the annular groove (12) of the reflector (10) by means of an adhesive (27). The foot (26), which is supported on a plurality of bumps (25) of the entire base (13) of the groove, is centred by two projections (16) in each case at three points (18, 19, 23) of one reflector half (9). As a result, the lens (31) is precisely fixed in one reflector half (9) (two sides in the case of a rectangular shape), and a constant distance of the foot (26) relative to the adjacent vehicle body and to the indicator is maintained. The total tolerance of the joined parts and the temperature-induced length compensation flow into the other reflector half (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
