PURPOSE:To change continuously the contact position of sliver and the circumferential face of rubber cot, which situates the nipping point of rollers, by reciprocating one roller with rubber cot of a pair of opposing rollers continuously in the shaft direction of the roller. CONSTITUTION:The housing 12 is reciprocated through the traverse lever 21 by the traverse device 22 of top roller shaft. The reciprocation of the housing 12 is transmitted through the needle bearing 13 to the front top roller shaft 4. The magnet ring 15 at the side of the housing 12 and the magnet ring 8 set at the end of the cylinder 6 of the front top roller 3 are repelled each other by the repulsion of the same pole, so that no deviation is produced between the needle bearing 13 and the front top roller shaft 4. The front top roller shaft 4 is always pressed by the pressing member 27, so the contact pressure between the top roller 3 and the bottom roller 1 is approximately constant. |
