PURPOSE:To obtain a stable electrophotograph for a long term by using a binary developer composed of a toner and 2 or more kinds of carriers different from each other in toner triboelectrification effect. CONSTITUTION:The developer is composed of the toner 28 and the carrier 30 relatively higher in the toner triboelectrification effect, and the carrier 32 relatively lower in said effect. The carrier 30 higher in the effect gives electrostatic charge a toner having a charge amt. below the necessary lower limit, a noncharged toner or weakly charged toner electrostatically separated from the carrier. On the contrary, when the toner is charged too much, the presence of the carrier 32 lower in the effect restrains such a toner charge distribution. |
