PURPOSE:To obtain combustible liquid usable as a heat energy source of thermochemical reaction or an electric energy source, by extracting slurry of a mixture of a solid matter / combustible liquid / water, a thermochemical reaction product of organic sludge, with an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:Slurry of a mixture of a solid matter / combustible liquid / water obtained by reacting thermochemically organic sludge such as excess sludge produced from a microorganism treated device is obtained. The slurry is blended with an organic solvent such as benzene, toluene, acetone, methylene chloride, etc., to extract the combustible liquid. EFFECT:Organic sludge is treated efficiently and economically.
