PURPOSE:To realize an ideal temperature distribution in the cooling and/or heating operation for a large space room by causing one of divided air flows to forcibly be blown out into the room through a duct disposed in the ceiling space. CONSTITUTION:A damper 7 is disposed on the downstream side of the heat exchanger 2 in the air conditioner unit 1 to divide the air passing through the heat exchanger 2 into the directions of arrow D and arrow C, which is carried to a position away from the air conditioner unit through the duct 8. The air drawn into the duct 8 by a centrifugal fan 11 disposed at the downstream end of the duct 8 is blown out of an outlet 13 in the arrow F direction by a centrifugal impeller 12. By the constitution in which the air is blown out from a location away from the air conditioner unit by means of the duct disposed in the ceiling space and the fan connected thereto, a proper temperature distribution can be provided in the room regardless of the cooling or heating operation. |
