PURPOSE:To discriminate between two pieces of information clearly by dividing a recording area into two in the direction of lines to be printed and recording operation information and fault information in each recording area separately. CONSTITUTION:Data on the operation of equipment to be monitored and controlled in inputted to an input device 1 and information necessary for monitoring is displayed 4 and recorded on printers 5 and 6. In this case, 'Fault Record' is printed on recording paper at the left side of a center column A and 'Operation Record' is printed at its right side. Then, it is judged whether information to be outputted is fault information or not. When so, it is judged whether the position of the printing head of the printer 6 is on a start column B or the center column A and when it is on the center column A, the printing head is returned to the starting column B. The fault information is printed between the start column B and center column A. When the information is the operation information, it is judged whether the position of the printing head of the printer 5 is on the start column B or center column A; when it is on the start column B, the printing head is moved to the center column A. Then, the operation information is recorded in the right half recording area from the center column A and the printing head is returned to the position of the start column B in a step n8. |
