PURPOSE:To improve the degradation of heat transfer performance by superposing two kinds of dead water areas by laying over the relative positions of horizontal or vertical grill bars disposed in the front panel and heat transmission pipes which are disposed horizontally or vertially in the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The air is drawn by the rotation of a propeller fan 4 from the direction A to pass through the gap in the lateral grill bars 1 in the front panel to be carried into the heat exchanger 2 and on through the gap in the fins 6 in the direction B. As the air so passes, vortices H are generated on the downstream side of the lateral grill bars 1, creating dead water areas 11. Said dead water areas 11 are superposed on the dead water areas 12 generated by the vortices on the downstream side of the heat transmission pipes 3. Since the dead water areas developing in the heat exchanger are reduced in this manner, the degradation of heat transfer performance can be improved. |
