PURPOSE:To contrive the cost-down of the air-conditioning machine by a method wherein the main body unit of a conventional downward delivery type air- conditioning machine, except the special type machine embedded in ceiling, is converted to the air-conditioning machine embedded in ceiling. CONSTITUTION:The air-conditioning machine is equipped with the main body unit 8 of the conventional downward delivery type air-conditioning machine, a delivery port 16 at the lower part thereof and a box 9, accommodating the main body unit 8 and installed in the ceiling, while the box 9 is provided with a space, forming the circulating duct for air, in front of the main body unit 8. The main body unit 8 is equipped with a hooking unit 8a at the back surface thereof while the box 9 is provided with an engaging unit 13 corresponding to the hooking unit 8a. Further, the box 9 is hung from a beam 10 in the ceiling through bolts 11 and the position thereof is adjusted so that the bottom of the box 9 coincides with the surface 12 of the ceiling. Thus, the main body unit of conventional downward delivery type air-conditioning machine, except the special type machine embedded in the ceiling, may be converted into the air-conditioning machine embedded in the ceiling and the cost-down of the air-conditioning machine may be contrived. |
