PURPOSE:To prevent the transmission failure by transmitting an electronic voice message, which reports the name of the terminating side, to the originating side simultaneously with incoming response of a facsimile on a basis of detection of a trunk line terminating signal to make it possible that the originating side confirms the terminating destination. CONSTITUTION:A trunk line terminating signal detecting circuit 11 detects the trunk line terminating signal based on a call from the originating side and gives the detection output to an electronic voice transmission timer 12. The electronic voice transmission timer 12 drives an electronic voice transmitting circuit 14 through an electronic voice stop timer 13 a certain time after the reception of the terminating signal. The electronic voice stop timer 13 stops the electronic voice transmitting circuit 14 after this circuit is driven for a certain time. The electronic voice transmitting circuit 14 includes a voice memory, a voice output part, a control part which controls them, etc. and superposes the electronic voice message onto a trunk line on a basis of the output of the electronic voice transmission timer 12. The electronic voice message from the voice transmitting circuit 14 is given to an incoming response reporting circuit 20, and the circuit 20 amplifies this message and drives a speaker SP installed in an optional position in accordance with the convenience of the terminating side.
