PURPOSE:To force wearing of a seat belt and improve the safety of the parking brake device for a car by providing a mounting and demounting mechanism that sets a braking release member to the operation disabled state in the main body of the parking blade device and connecting this mounting and demounting mechanism and the blade hooking interlocking member of a seat belt catcher. CONSTITUTION:When a blade is inserted in the reception section of a catcher so that a driver can wear the seat belt, the internal cord 23 of an interlocking member 20 is pressed and a mounting and demounting member 24 rotates up to the virtual line position. Then, the insertion and removal pin 24b of the mounting and demounting member 24 is disengaged from between the release operation end 17 of a braking release member 16 and the pressed end 18b of a pawl member 18 and is set to the braking enable state. Subsequently, when a release button 16a is pushed in, the release operation end 17 presses the pressed end 18b of the pawl member 18 and the pawl 18b is disengaged from the teeth 13a of the sector 13 of a base member 11. As a result, a brake lever 15 can be returned and the braking can be released. Consequently, as long as the seat belt is not worn, a parking brake device 10 cannot be braking- released. |
